Terms of Service
Last updated: May 14, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Parishly™, an AI-powered pastoral care platform operated by Parishly ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Accounts and Access
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Each church organization registers as a separate tenant. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You may invite team members (pastors and associates) to your church account. You are responsible for their compliance with these terms.
2. Subscription Plans and Billing
Parishly offers the following subscription tiers:
- Free Plan — Limited features, no charge
- Pro Plan — $49/month per church organization
- Church Plan — $149/month per church organization
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Prices may change with 30 days' written notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access through the period you've paid for. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days at support@parishly.polsia.app and we'll make it right.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to harass, harm, or discriminate against congregation members
- Upload malicious code, conduct unauthorized access attempts, or interfere with service operations
- Share account credentials with individuals outside your organization
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-export data without our written consent
- Misrepresent your identity or your church organization
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
5. Data Ownership
Your church's data belongs to your church. Parishly is a data processor, not a data owner. Member profiles, care logs, visit records, and all congregation data you enter into the platform remain your organization's property.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service — generating follow-up suggestions, sending emails you explicitly authorize, and displaying information to authorized users in your organization.
We will never sell your congregation's data to third parties or use it to train AI models without your explicit consent.
6. Multi-Tenant Data Isolation
Each church account operates as an isolated tenant. No church can access another church's data. Our systems enforce tenant boundaries at the database level — every query is scoped to your organization's ID. In the event of a technical failure that results in cross-tenant data exposure, we will notify affected organizations promptly.
7. AI-Generated Content
Parishly uses AI to suggest follow-up messages and re-engagement content. These suggestions are AI-generated and require pastor review before sending. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-suggested content before sending it to congregation members. We are not liable for the content of messages you choose to send.
AI suggestions are generated based on the data you've entered. Accuracy depends on data quality. We make no guarantee that AI suggestions are theologically appropriate, accurate, or suitable for your specific congregation context.
8. Third-Party Infrastructure
Parishly is hosted on third-party infrastructure including Render (hosting), Neon (database), and Cloudflare. Your data may be stored in data centers operated by these providers. We select providers with strong security practices, but we cannot guarantee their independent operations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parishly's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost data, lost revenue, or harm arising from reliance on AI-generated content.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors, or fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may terminate your account for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or conduct we reasonably determine is harmful to other users or to us.
Upon termination, your right to access the service ends. We will retain your data for 90 days following termination, during which you may request an export. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
